When developing the Professional Experience section of your resume, always begin with your most recent experience FIRST, and then work your way backwards in reverse chronological order. The hiring manager is more interested in what you have done recently than in the distant past.
Be sure to indicate both the MONTH and YEAR of each employment assignment, beginning and ending dates.
A common formatting mistake is to lump all your experience together, and then later in the resume to group your employment dates, titles and employers. This is not a preferred resume format. It is more powerful to showcase WHAT you did, and WHERE you did it, thus portraying a PROGRESSION through your career.
