Our client, a Top 250 AM Law Firm, has an immediate opening for a Litigation Data Analyst in their Wheeling, WV office.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 12:00 pm to 9:00 p.m.
The Litigation Data Analyst is responsible for working with data obtained through the discovery process. Ensures data is tracked and handled per firm policy, is available in a timely manner to those who need it, and is manipulated according to instructions.
This position will be resonsible for inventorying data, managing media, helping ensure vendor processing was performed correctly, loading data into review tools, indexing and maintaining review databases, preparing production sets, and organizing data on firm servers across various offices.
Works collaboratively with the Project Managers to deliver a very responsive and high-quality of service to attorney case teams, the Document Review Services Group, and the firm's clients.
In certain circumstances, may assist case teams in the use of specialized tools for analyzing data for early case assessment purposes and to prepare data culling and refinement strategies.
When appropriate and per instructions, processes electronic data for use in other database or review tools.Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of technical, project, or data management expertise, preferably in a law firm, vendor, IT, or consulting environment.
- Concordance, Discovery Law, Live Note required.
- Data management and database expertise required.
- Relativity technical knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to assist users in determining specific application requirements, manage the implementation of these requirements and, when necessary, learn new technologies that meet these requirements.
- Experience handling high stress situations and dealing successfully with conflict.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical personnel in a clear manner.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple assignments.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership of client requests and his/her team’s success.
- Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) in order to interact effectively with firm attorneys and their clients.
- Strong client-service orientation skills.
