Our client, a publicly held software services company catered to the eDiscovery and computer forensics industry, has an immediate opening for an E-Discovery Project Manager in their Washington, DC / Reston, VA office.Job Description:The E-Discovery Project Manager will be responsible for consulting and managing complex electronic discovery projects from the earliest stages through production. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in a fast-paced vendor or law firm litigation support/eDiscovery environment simultaneously working on multiple cases primarily dealing with electronic discovery and computer forensic investigations.
Primary Responsibilities:- Consult with clients to provide best in breed solutions to their individual cases.
- Develop, write and implement work strategy and timeline to meet client’s needs.
- Maintain high level of professionalism throughout projects, with special emphasis on communication, both with client and internal team.
- Work with management team to remain on the cutting edge of technology and work flow with regard to electronic discovery.
- Able to provide around the clock support for clients when needed.
Qualification & Skill Requirements:- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and proofreading.
- Experience with eDiscovery technology tools such as IPRO suite, LAW 5.0, MS Access, SQL database systems, Concordance, Summation, Ringtail, Attenex, Relativity, Catalyst, etc. is a plus.
- Thorough working knowledge of e-discovery applications and network environment, word processing, database and spreadsheet.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining proper priorities and scheduling on extremely tight deadlines.
- Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects.
Education/Experience Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or computer related field a plus.
- Language fluency in Japanese, Korean, and/or Chinese is advantageous, but not required.
- JD a plus, but not required.
3-5 years of project management or case management experience within the legal/e-discovery industry. - Previous experience as an Analyst and/or Assistant Project Manager a plus.
