    Our client, a major E-Discovery Services Provider, has an immediate opening for an individual who possesses the technical acumen and desire to learn a highly sophisticated electronic discovery system to support the company’s E-Discovery Production Support Team as an E-Discovery Project Manager in their Manhattan, New York office.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a software development background, and a clear understanding of the electronic discovery industry, to join a world-renowned Consulting Firm and work with some of the best electronic discovery technology tools available on the market.


    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Responsible for managing and investigating complex project tasks and customized client requests.
    • Work closely with Project Managers and clients to facilitate project solutions.
    • Work directly with software development to enhance the proprietary e-discovery management workflow system.
    • Work with development team on new software releases as well as custom development work and provide comprehensive quality assurance testing. Provide feedback on future application enhancements.
    • Notify development of identifiable issues and work closely with development to resolve.
    • Communicate and provide draft summaries to Production Team of their findings and solutions for complex tasks and client requests.
    • Coordinate with Project Managers to resolve anomalies on all projects affected by the identifiable issue at hand.
    • Work closely with Electronic Discovery Group IT Team to investigate customer concerns and provide solutions in a professional and timely manner.
    • Responsible for special needs projects such as, custom client specified file format, etc.
    • Responsible for providing metrics on the different states and tasks throughout the workflow system and improving efficiencies within the workflow.
    • Assist the Project Managers and Electronic Discovery Group IT Team with archiving completed projects per client specified requests. 
    • Responsible for evaluating QC tools to assist the Project Managers with verification and data analysis of client data.
    • Responsible for creating a database and tracking all aspects of project complaints and client requests for management review and for billing purposes.
    • Create technical and training documentation.
    • Reports directly to team Director/Assistant Director of E-Discovery Services, or Managing Director in their absence.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 4 year College Degree in Computer Science or related technical degree is an absolute must.
    • Working knowledge of structured query language (SQL) for use with databases, Windows, Linux and Oracle.
    • Working knowledge of software programming and principles.
    • Working knowledge of scripting language.
    • Minimum 3-5 years experience working in litigation support and electronic discovery industry.
    • Candidate must have strong written and communications skills to frequently prepare summaries and reports of application and client issues.
    • Strong knowledge in database and systems architecture.
    • Proven team management and leadership skills.

    The working hours for the position are Monday-Friday, 12:00pm - 9:00pm.
