  • Our client, a Fortune 500 Corporation, is seeking an E-Discovery Coordinator to provide litigation support to the legal department. Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years experience as an E-Discovery or Litigation Support Project Manager / Coordinator / Specialist and/or Consultant.
     
    This position will be responsible for supporting attorneys and paralegals on upstream and downstream litigation matters by managing and coordinating the discovery process (legal holds, collection, discovery services, and document review) with internal counsel, external counsel and vendors.

     
    Essential Job Functions:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Attorneys and Paralegals, and regularly communicate with the Legal, Forensic Collection team, IT Management, and outside vendors to understand deadlines and case approach.
    • Manage cases throughout the entire EDRM lifecycle (collection, processing, review, hosting, and production).
    • Establish clear requirements for all phases of the project.
    • Coordinate with IT Management to ensure that Infrastructure.
    • Strategy and projects are aligned with Legal Department discovery requirements.
    • Be an advocate for eDiscovery “best practices” and efforts for progress throughout the enterprise.
    • Participate in training initiatives for appropriate Legal and IT staff with respect to policies, procedures, best practices, and technology solutions to ensure effectiveness of the overall program.
    • Assist with setup and organization of case based on the unique needs of each case.
    • Work with Attorneys, Data Technicians, Forensic Collections teams, and the Technical Support team to ensure that requests are met and expectations are exceeded.
    • Successfully manage multiple concurrent projects from start to archival while keeping team leadership informed of status, potential project risks and/or pending issues.
    • Perform extensive quality assurance on the platform and on client data.
    • Respond to internal inquiries regarding functionality of the platform.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with in-house and outside counsel.
     
    Educational Requirements:

    4-year BA or BS degree is required.
    JD is helpful, but is not required.
