Assistant Director E-Discovery ServicesOur client, an E-Discovery Consulting Firm, has an immediate opening for an Assistant Director of E-Discovery Services to support the E-Discovery Support Team. The Assistant Director will be responsible for supervising and managing the workflow and activities of the E-Discovery Team and assisting with discovery for complex litigation, regulatory investigations and other dispute situations.REQUIREMENTS:
- Plan, perform and manage engagements of auto-indexing and electronic data processing projects
including data conversion, database creation and data deliveries and quality control. - Communicate with engagement managers and clients to create the right workflow, understand
client deadlines and allocated budget for each project. - Prepare and provide clients, engagement managers and production team with daily project updates regarding the data inventory and processing status.
- Support Engagement Managers in product demonstrations, explanation of technical issues with clients.
- Responsible for converting data and creating load files for client specific software packages such as Opticon, IPRO, Summation and Ringtail, etc.
- Responsible for tracking all aspects of assigned projects and maintaining accurate data for billing purposes.
- Work directly with software development team in order to enhance our proprietary project management workflow system.
- Investigate and resolve project complaints as well as facilitate solutions.
- Reports directly to Director of E-Discovery Services and two Managing Directors.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:- A minimum of 5-7 years of litigation support, electronic discovery, project management and legal database experience is a must.
A minimum of 2-3 years experience in managing a team of E-discovery specialists. - Must exhibit strong technical writing skills, maintain client confidentiality, ability to analyze information and communicate processes, and excellent follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and able to multi-task and prioritize work assignments in order to meet deadlines.
- Have a successful tracking record of managing engagements of all sizes and durations.
- Demonstrate ability to develop business with new and existing clients.
- Must exhibit superior negotiating and presentation skills.
